American State Bank & Trust Company Celebrates 120 years of Excellence as Williston’s Only Locally Owned Community Bank.
WILLISTON ND-- American State Bank & Trust Company (ASB), is proud to celebrate 120 years of serving communities, businesses, and families across the region.
Since 1906, ASB has remained committed to relationship-driven community banking built on trust, service, and local decision-making. Throughout its 120-year history, the Bank has been locally owned by the Davidson-Sogard family. The ownership began under the local leadership of W.S. Davidson, Sr., followed by Thomas M. Davidson, Sr., and continues today with Tammy Davidson-Sogard and her family. “We are so proud of the 120-year relationship my family has had with Williston and the surrounding region. Our focus continues to be to enhance that relationship by providing the best possible banking experience to the citizens of our region,” said Tammy Davidson-Sogard.

Throughout its history, ASB has supported local businesses, agriculture, families, and community organizations while adapting to meet the changing needs of customers across generations. To celebrate the 120th anniversary, the bank will host a ribbon cutting on July 15 at 1:30PM. There will also be treats, giveaways, and opportunities to reflect on the bank’s history and legacy within the community – all of which will take place in the Main bank lobby at 223 Main Street, Williston from July 13 - 17.
