American State Bank & Trust Company (ASB) is proud to support the community by donating a collection of handmade quilts to the Family Crisis Shelter. These quilts, which were purchased at the recent St. Joseph’s Mardi Gras Auction, will provide warmth and comfort to families in need.
“At ASB, we believe in giving back to the community in meaningful ways,” says Dave Hanson, President/CEO. “We are pleased to donate these beautiful handmade quilts in hopes that they bring a sense of comfort to those who need it most.”
ASB has a longstanding commitment to community service and outreach. This donation is part of the bank’s broader efforts to support local organizations that make a difference in the lives of residents.
The Family Crisis Shelter is a 24-hour, 7 day-a-week, crisis intervention program for victims and families of domestic violence and sexual assault, serving a tri-county area of northwestern North Dakota. "We are incredibly grateful for ASB’s continued support and for always thinking of our organization and the work we do," said Marie Collins, Executive Director. “Quilts are more than just blankets; they represent comfort, safety, and care. One of my most cherished gifts is a quilt my grandmother made for me, and I know these quilts will become treasured keepsakes for the survivors who receive them."
